Changed External HD Permissions
I changed the permission of my external hard drive so another user couldn't access the files or read/write. Now I can't even see it in the Finder on my Admin account, but it's there in disk utility. If anyone could help me change it back I'd be very appreciative. Thanks
cd/dvd drive ejecting discs
all of a sudden my powerbook ejects cds and dvds without reading the media. the motor goes through its few second start up process but spits the disc out. not media related as these are discs that have played before. any ideas? powerbook g4 15" Mac OS X (10.3.9) 2002 powerbook

How can I bring in sound from a cassette to my PB so I can burn it to cd? My Mom wants to save her wedding to CD so it will last. Any advice would help. PB 1ghz 15, G4 400 AGP, Mini 1.25 Mac OS X (10.3.9)
Cardbus Video Input?
I need to do some video (ntsc) input to my 15" G4 aluminum powerbook. I know there are firewire/usb solutions but I didn't buy a portable to lug all the extra junk around. Does anyone know if a cardbus adapter that will allow for video input on a Mac? Preferably with sVideo?
Card Bus Slot Problem
I use my G4 Powerbook for recording music. I have a soundcard that uses the card bus slot and I find that when I try to boot up the computer I hear the chimes but it never boots. So I pull the card out and it boots fine then I have to jiggle the card in the slot to get it to work. Other times i
